Building on more than two decades of experience developing UV technology, these units are engineeredspecifically for high-speed curing of flat and rigid panel substrates including; vinyl, paper, polyester, glass, andothers. By minimizing the level of heat transmission, the Accu-Cure UV’s computer-designed cooling systemprotects both stock and belt, keeping distortion to a minimum.
The low-maintenance Accu-Cure UV features a repositionable curing head with an easy-to-clean focused reflector,and a simple gate height adjustment accommodates varying stock thickness. Variable position wattage selection of100-, 200-, or 300- watts per inch lets the operator choose the most efficient UV output for the application,extending lamp life in addition to saving electricity.
Standard safety features such as the specially designed light guards and ozone removal system protect workersfrom UV and visible band light while venting ozone and hot air out of the working area, and the vacuum holddownsystem positions and protects the substrate as it undergoes rapid curing. According to customers, the unit is alsoextremely quiet.
The Accu-Cure UV is available in several configurations, including: a complete UV curing system with curing head,conveyor, vacuum holddown and exhaust system; curing head with light guard assembly; and a vacuum holddownretro-fit package. Curing widths from 12" to 100" are available, with conveyor lengths from 5' and up. All units canbe single or double lamped, with 400W or Gallium lamp upgrades as an option. Other options include quartzpolished glass for greater heat reduction and additional conveyor sections by the foot.
